Wow... I Am Impressed...

Wow, I am impressed.
I am impressed by the fact that this is going out to at least 50,000 of you today. I always intended to build a massive movement for peace and love and to bring meaning back to music, but I didn't realize it would go from zero to 88 miles per hour so quickly. I am thrilled, and excited, and impressed, to say the least. Today we have a new music video, a lot of thank yous, and I reveal a few other artists that might also move you.

Fox (not me, nor Mulder - but our third, evil triplet that has manifested itself as a media empire), destroyed the Unrequited Titanic video some months ago, so a very special fan has worked around the clock to put together a new Unrequited video for those of you with romantic souls. Here is the video, you *may* recognize the movie we used for it, even though it's a little obscure.

THE TOUR SO FAR - AND HOW GRATEFUL I AM
I've now played 298 shows this year, and by the end of the year it will be 369 (just so I can say I played more shows than there were days in the year). I hope you will join me at one of the 68 remaining shows. It will be worth it :) Every show is free, and they have been getting larger and more enjoyable for everyone lately.
In fact, I'd like to just tell you how grateful I am... and how much it moves me... and rocks my world... when these things happen...

- when I see CD sales through my website http://www.elipsus.net - For someone who lives in my car, it is these sales that pay my gas money, and for the food that fuels the drive to continue.
- when you offer gifts, money, shelter, photo shoots, promotional assistance (and sometimes your... er... bodies) to try and help me reach the world in any way you can. Some of you have gone above and beyond and without you - there is no way I would have made it this far.
- when dozens and dozens and dozens of you come out from your cozy homes and attend my free shows. Once you're there, it's fun for everyone, but it takes a certain amount of effort to actually come out and try something new... don't think I don't know that - and truly appreciate it - that so many of you continue to do so, day in and day out.
- when I am singing to a crowd and instead of clapping politely, they cheer, they holler, they scream, and they make enough noise to remind me that I must never give up.
- when I look into my audience and see you singing back the lyrics to my songs. Do you have ANY idea how much that means to me? It is a beautiful thing. Keep doing it!
- when you request specific songs of mine, that you know from previous shows, or the internet, or from the CDs you already have. It really makes me smile to know you know my songs!
- when you tell me that something I have done, said, written, or sung about, has had a positive influence on you, your life, or someone you know.
- when day after day, my promotional team goes out of their way to keep the music alive by spending hours and hours doing everything that I could never do alone.
- when I see your wonderful comments on elipsus.net, on my youtube videos, and on my facebook fan page, as well as those you send to ELIPSUS@GMAIL.COM
- when some of you drive an hour, two hours, three or more, or even fly - to see me perform.
- when you tell me which songs you like and don't like, and why - when you tell me how my songs and my mission affected you, and what they mean to you.
